“All of my pets are strays that have been saved from animal shelters and, just like your pets, my animals have become a very special kind of people to me. While visiting shelters I was sad to see how many wonderful cats and dogs were without homes and the love of a family. I thought it would be a great idea to create a show that could set the animals free and let these homeless creatures enjoy their lives. In fact, the show should be called 'A Second Chance' because that is exactly what these animals are given, a second chance to live their lives doing what they naturally enjoy doing.”
