“It's great for us. When you come to the rink here on those days when you don't want to practice, the night before, you saw one of those guys playing for the big club and it gives you some motivation to get better every day. You know it's pretty close.”
“We lost the special teams battles. When you lose those you put yourself in a pretty good position to lose the game. We put ourselves behind the eight-ball early with the five-on-three. Five-on-five we had the upper hand, but they did a good job on the power play.”

“I saw the puck come out, and, as a D-man, you don't want the puck lying in the crease. I was just trying to clear it to the corner, get it away. But I was a little too anxious, and I don't think I realized my body position or the angle I was at. Instead of going into the corner, it went into the back of the net.”
