“People appeared to be huddled in the rain alongside the road. The rain made it seem all the more desperate, but it was one of the saddest moments I have experienced so far. So many of the faces were expressing the pain of losing not only their homes but everyone in their family. We found nearly 100 children huddled together, out of which 49 were from our school.”
