“He had a tremendous ERA. His walks [70] were up a little. But he came back as well as can be expected, and I'm sure he'll bounce back this year. He has overall good stuff, and he knows how to pitch. He's a quality lefty who can get people out. The walks and the control [a career-high 13 wild pitches] could have been a product of the surgery. But we're all optimistic that his command issues are behind him.”
