“He did that last dive flawlessly, but that's the one we need to change, and do 2½ twists instead to make it more difficult. If he decides to push the envelope and change those dives, I think he has a great shot at the 2008 Olympic Games.”
“We started learning a new dive on platform before this competition and Steve had a little bit of a mental lapse in that he performed the new dive instead of what we had entered him to perform and thus automatically received no points on that dive. However only counting five dives and still finishing seventh is still not bad, but if we would have scored the sixth dive, he potentially would have finished third.”
