“My main focus this year is to qualify better. Last year I could always race and finish really well. My qualifying position never put me in a spot where I could finish where I felt the team prepared the car to finish.”
“I went into 17 and it was one of those deals where the rear end starts leading the front around. What you do. After that I adjusted the brake bias and it was fine and I could settle down and make up positions.”
“At one point I was having a good run with Will Turner in the #2 car. We were fighting for sixth place and the lead pack was in sight. Knowing we had run quite a while under yellow, and with Will in my mirrors, I was pushing pretty hard. Unfortunately, the way we were crashing the curbs, one of my control arms gave out. When I entered turn one, I just couldn't hang on and Will was able to get by me. I did another lap, but then the car spun going into turn one. It was obvious my day was over so I got the car safely out of the way.”
